2016 Volunteer Opportunities
The Atlanta Fringe Festival exists to provide a platform for independent, self-producing performing artists. This year, the Atlanta Fringe Festival is presenting 24 performing artist groups at 6 venues for a total of 96 performances in just 4 days!
Sell tickets, accurately complete box office paperwork, and reconcile the till after each show. You must be comfortable handling cash, multi-tasking, and working in a fast-paced environment.
We need special event volunteers to assist with the Preview and Closing parties.
We need a few volunteer festival photographers. These folks will photograph performances, nightly networking after parties at the Hive Hot Spots, the Preview and Opening parties, and any other cool festival happenings they spot.
For every two shifts worked, volunteers will receive a voucher for free admission to a show. When a volunteer works three or more shifts, they earn a festival T-shirt. Box office/usher volunteer may be able to watch the shows they work, depending on house capacity. We’re also grateful to Sun In My Belly for hosting our Volunteer Appreciation Party, which will take place Tuesday June 14.
Festival volunteers must attend one training session prior to serving as a volunteer to learn our ticketing system and fill out necessary paperwork.
Multiple volunteer shifts are available each day, and are generally be 3 to 4 hours long. Stay connected with AFF to hear more about volunteer opportunities!
