Synopsis

When you are perceived as an unwanted immigrant child, you look for an identity that will make you acceptable… It was the 80’s, a boy from a well-to-do family in Haiti with an exceptional destiny, comes to America to live with the mother he never knew. He is treated as sub-human, in a society driven by appearances…out of desperation and necessity – Hungers for recognition, he is forced to hide behind MASKS and puts on the performance of his life: (a Mime, Michael Jackson, Breakdancer, a Gigolo, a Harvard man, to be loved and survive. But the shame he carries for not being true to himself crushes his humanity. As the years go by, while he must never hide the beauty of his being, he realizes by driving a Porsche 911 with a Harvard Law School Alumni Window sticker, a black man still needs a few good masks to be seen in a positive light.
