Synopsis

Five souls careen through space as the words of the love letters they wrote echo through time in this striking new Dance/Theatre work from Courageous Theater Ensemble. Using the words of Beethoven, Napoleon, Elizabeth Browning and countless others, we explore the world of romantic relationships. From the dizzying heights of first love to the crushing pangs of separation, these souls dance their way though a journey all of us have experienced. Blurring the lines between actor and dancer, (Echoes) fuses several dance styles from Ballet and Postmodern to Hip-Hop, set to a stirring soundtrack of A capella pop music from the 1960’s. Let the chorus of voices wash over you as the words of love echo through your heart.
