I Hope We Never Land is a dance theater work exploring how memory, nostalgia, and our relationship to the natural world shape the present. Through complex partnering, physical phrase work, and improvisation, four dancers embody facets of time: Past, Present, Future, and In-Between. Together, music, personal essays, and movement create a world where time is blurred and reality is suspect. The work asks: When do memories become stories? When do dreams become the present? And if our visions for the future are unsustainable, what choices can we make today to create a different reality?
