1. Why should people see your show?
It's charming, not alarming. But very amok. Not what you'd expect. You'll thinky laugh. More than belly laugh. Depends on your GI tract. But your head might explode This is the story of our lives right now. America 2026. But with me in it. Telling it. My life. An immigrant son's tale of what it’s like in America today. Nothing makes sense. I've lived the life of a news guy, so I observe and tell my stories. I am objective.I don't take a stand. When do I cross a line? Or just continue to watch? What happens when you realize there's more to life than news. There's just life. And maybe art. And that’s how we get to the truth.
2. What about festivals intrigues you? And why the Atlanta Fringe?
I like being among a group of artists telling their stories. All different. All universal. Why Atlanta? I have always liked Atlanta as a city and a place. Jimmy Carter and the Braves put Atlanta on the map for me. I like boiled peanuts.I thought it would be cool to be part of the artists assembled telling a different, but universal story. With a different accent.
3. What inspired you to create this?
I am living it. I wanted to capture it. Story evolves everyday. It's like a report of how I make sense of life now. It’s not easy. Meditation helps. Cartooning the world helps. Ridiculing autocrats helps.
