The Buzz Intro Interview

Anthony Elmore - Writer, Producer, Performer, Chief Scientist

1. Why should people see your show?

This is a humorous story about one of my many childhood hyperfixations, and how children with undiagnosed ADHD fared before effective treatment and understanding. You'll learn about AL13 and see live demonstrations of its uses while I talk about my struggle for acceptance, and eventually finding it in adulthood.

2. What about festivals intrigues you? And why the Atlanta Fringe?

Fringe festivals offer new performers the space to learn theatre and experiment. I started out as a frequent Atlanta Fringe Audio contributor, then producer, and now I'm performing for a live audience with my favorite people.

3. What inspired you to create this?

I performed a short version for Story Collider - Atlanta two years ago. I used one of my childhood hobbies as a central theme to help audiences, and myself, understand ADHD and its impact on childhood mental health. This long-form version dives into my childhood hopes for a brighter future when my present looked dim.
