1. Why should people see your show?
This is a place where art finds joy and joy finds a voice. Each character is a bit nutty and perhaps you can relate to feeling a bit nutty. We dance like everyone is watching so you can feel a connection.
2. What about festivals intrigues you? And why the Atlanta Fringe?
The fun energy that exists when I'm surrounded by lots of other creators. I enjoy the experimental approach to theatrical productions and the social time with many exciting artists. The sort of open door policy of fringe is a great way to present a show that expands the definition of theatre. I have been through Atlanta a handful of times but never really experienced the city, so I'm hopeful that Atlanta Fringe will give me that chance.
3. What inspired you to create this?
I have always been a fan of mixing stories and seeing them from a different point of view ever since I saw the broadway recording of Into the Woods. For Down the Rabbit Hole, I started with the concept of what the story would look like if we followed The White Rabbit and find yourself in an unexpected situation.
