Hagnificent

Give a Folk Productions

Atlanta, Georgia

Step into a world where aging is celebrated. Life is too short so embrace it – using humor, grace and unapologetic badassery. Hagnificent is a love letter to the women who came before, a middle finger to the patriarchy, and an invitation to meet the last stage of life not with fear—but with fire. This will surely resonate with anyone who has experienced the highs and lows of life’s transitions, offering a perspective on a very human experience. It will leave you laughing, reflecting, and celebrating.

The Buzz Intro Interview

Deborah Fromm (co-writer & performer)

1. Why should people see your show?

Hagnificent has been described as a "joyful comedy" that offers a "feelgood" experience, helping women celebrate their strength and resilience.
Instead of viewing menopause as a decline, I am trying to reframe it as a powerful transformation, rich with potential, wisdom, and the freedom to get in touch with our inner badass.

2. What about festivals intrigues you? And why the Atlanta Fringe?

I absolutely thrive on the eclectic variety of Fringe festivals and the chance to champion fellow artists. I'm thrilled and honored to be able to contribute to my hometown fringe festival!

3. What inspired you to create this?

They say to 'write what you know, ' so I’m diving into the raw, relatable reality of what I—along with about a billion other women—am experiencing right now. My goal is to empower others ... to share their own stories, find the humor in the chaos, embrace their inner badass goddess, and simply enjoy this phase of life.
