1. Why should people see your show?
Hour the Clown, an all ages clown show, includes a traditional style silent of clowning. With a large amount of audience interaction, games, and a variety of stunts, tricks, juggling, and puppetry there is something for everyone at this show. Many have walked away from this show surprised with what clowning can be and with smiles on their faces from the fun we created together. This show has been a proven success at festivals and with adult and children's audiences.
2. What about festivals intrigues you? And why the Atlanta Fringe?
I am excited to get to know more performance artists in the Atlanta area and share some of my work with them. Becoming more of a regular performer in the area has been a great experience and the communities I have engaged with have been very receptive.
My connection to the puppetry in the area is another reason why I am intrigued by the live performance happening in the city of Atlanta.
3. What inspired you to create this?
I have been clowning for over 8 years and my initial inspiration for my long form clowning show came from wanted a clown show that is easily transportable and has the ability to create spaces where the audience feels free to play and express!
Through performing this show in the past 5 years I have continued to find inspiration in the moments of interaction and improvisation I have with audience members. These magic moments come often through audience interjection and play that lead to further discoveries and hilarious organic moments.
