1. Why should people see your show?
With a bit of humor, our show will give the audience a peek of how Parkinson's affects not only the patient, but their family and friends . You may laugh at times and cry at others; however, you will leave our production knowing more about this disease.
2. What about festivals intrigues you? And why the Atlanta Fringe?
We have performed at Fringe Festivals in Providence, RI; San Francisco, CA; and here in Atlanta. Festivals offer a great opportunity for experimentation and exploring performance concepts. It's a smorgasbord of delights that hopefully tantalizes theatre goers. With so many shows and venues, more people can see the show and hear about it. The Atlanta Fringe is perfect for us to introduce, "Parkinson's: The Musical", because Atlanta is our home. the area,
3. What inspired you to create this?
Since I have Parkinson's, I'm well aware of the lack of knowledge, confusion and fear concerning this illness. Parkinson's affects each person differently. We desire to educate others about Parkinson's so they have a better understanding of what it does.
