The Buzz Intro Interview

Ryn: Robin of the Sun/Show Creator/Solo Act

1. Why should people see your show?

I believe people will get more than just an aerial performance. Sure, you can expect cool feats of athleticism and artistry. But those are just two layers of a sweet cake~

The other is the lessons on being resilient~ And the comedy is batch of sprinkles on top! As for the frosting, it's the cuteness that Ryn projects with her quirky optimism and always making sure everyone is ok!

Overall, I hope audience will walk away satisfied with the stunts, laughing a little with the jokes, and above all taking away some sort of inspiration for going through life.

2. What about festivals intrigues you? And why the Atlanta Fringe?

Having done the Tampa Fringe Festival in the past as part of Acrobellum, I wanted to give this festival a shot as a solo act. With Atlanta being one of the capitals of entertainment/performing world, it's only fitting that I dip my toe into this bright community.

3. What inspired you to create this?

For years I was always cast as an ensemble performer. And I've always been proud of because it gave me a chance to play on stage. However, I don't want to be remembered as just that. I wanted to prove that I could create something more than just a solo act. I wanted to create something that when people watch, it not only makes them smile. It shows that I am my own person and that I can translate that resilience into being my own performer and person.
