1. Why should people see your show?
Because people love a beautiful disaster—and they love an escape from reality. Lucky for you, this show is both. It’s loud, chaotic, and weirdly spiritual (but without the tithing). It won’t attack you. It won’t get you into heaven. But it will make you think—right after you stop laughing, cringing, or questioning what the hell you just witnessed. Honestly? If you want this kind of energy anywhere else, you’ll have to hit up a megachurch.
2. What about festivals intrigues you? And why the Atlanta Fringe?
I love festivals because it creates accessibility for both performers and audiences. Good art is reaching people and good artists are reaching a broader audience. It's a win/win. Atlanta has always felt like a home to me. This is a special place not only for this festival, but for life and culture.
3. What inspired you to create this?
I watched an old Youtube Video and it was an archived episode of The Howard Stern Show from 9/11. Watching Stern uphold his on-air persona while attempting to grapple with the reality of the attacks was extremely intriguing to me.
