1. Why should people see your show?
The Reel Report is the funniest newsroom in Atlanta. It’s high-energy satire that tackles community issues with heart, humor, and surprise guests—all while your ticket directly funds the future of independent storytelling.
2. What about festivals intrigues you? And why the Atlanta Fringe?
Fringe festivals are the only places left that let you be truly unfiltered. Atlanta Fringe gives The Reel Report the freedom to investigate local absurdity without a corporate filter. It’s a city-wide celebration of truth-telling and risk-taking, and there’s no better place to fundraise for a show that belongs to the community.
3. What inspired you to create this?
Watching the collapse of independent media and the division in America, I realized we’re losing the 'voice of the people' to corporate noise. I wanted to use my training—from the UCB stage to the SNL scholarship program—to build something that fights back. The Reel Report is my way of taking high-stakes satirical comedy and applying it to real community issues. It’s about telling the truth through a lens that’s actually funny, because if we aren't laughing at the chaos, we’re just losing to it.
