Synopsis
Weaving together dance, original poetry, and music, Amanda Sieradzki’s one-woman rock show plunges the audience into the daydreams of a former fangirl, bringing to life the strain between teenage rebellion and conformity. Part open mic, part choreography, this interdisciplinary dance performance utilizes the venue and structure of a rock concert to build an immersive, participatory experience. Attendees will travel through the fangirl’s pop-punk heyday and are encouraged to engage with the performers at their level of comfort—singing, dancing, and moshing along.
