Show Title: Rhythm of Love the Musical
“When I was going through my life changes and reminiscing on my past and the dreams I had as a kid, it inspired me to share a story about dance and dreams to inspire others to follow their passion. That’s how Rhythm of Love the Musical was born.”
- Why should people see your show?
My show gives you hope, it inspires you go for your dreams and reminds you of the power of dreams. Rhythm of Love the Musical offers a timeless tale that resonates with audiences of all generations. Dare to dream the impossible.
- What about festivals intrigues you? And why the Atlanta Fringe?
What intrigued me about festivals, is that the festivals give independent film makers different opportunities to get their projects to a broader audience? Festivals also offers the opportunity for others to view your work in a format that others will share their view. ,
- What inspired you to create this?
I remember as a kid wanting to go to the school of performing arts to act and dance but my parents could not afford it and my school did not offer much in the arts. I also am a big romantic of love and relationship. So about 18 years ago when I was going through my life changes and reminiscing on my past and the dreams I had as a kid, it inspired me to share a story about dance and dreams to inspire others to follow their passion. That’s how Rhythm of Love the Musical was born.
- Life has been weird the last few years, to say the least. How has the “real world” affected the art you’re creating?
Yes, life has been strange over the last few years I agree. To me the real world has affected the arts in many ways, by the types of stories now told, how AI has inserted itself into the arts in a big way. I also believe it sparked new creative passion and levels for others as artist.
- What have you learned from working on your show so far?
I have learned how to create the shows budget, build a show from ground up by learning every department, and including the people and network system around me get things done.
- A mysterious stranger asks to meet you and your cast and crew after loving your show. In your WILDEST DREAMS, who is it? (Bonus points if your mysterious stranger is an Atlanta celeb.)
Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, Whoopi Goldberg, Debbie Allen or Spike Lee
[Edit: We will LOSE OUR MINDS if Spike shows up.]
- Fringes are the place to really push the boundaries so we gotta ask: are you inviting your family to this show are “Hey, maybe sit this one out you guys…”
I am definitely inviting my family to this show.
- Will your show change the world?
My show will offer a well needed reprieve from the world. It will offer you an opportunity to dance and dream.
- AI: the death of our art form or just a new tool to create?
I feel it can be a potential to be both. Like anything else it will depend on how far we will take it.
- We’re making an excellent Fringey Feelings playlist. Describe your show in two or three songs we can add to keep the jams flowing.
