Welcome to the 2025 Atlanta Fringe Festival
It’s our biggest party ever! Our 13th annual festival takes place May 28-June 8, 2025 (TWO WHOLE WEEKS!) at venues throughout East Atlanta, featuring live performances by 60 artist groups from across the country, as well as featured performances from some of our favorite local Atlanta artists.
There’s a lot going on! Here’s a full rundown of our jam-packed, supersized Fringe experience:

Featuring 60 groups from all across the country

Plan Your Visit!

We’ve got TONS of programming this year, and some new venues, and we’re super excited about it! To keep things running smoothly, please keep the following things in mind:
- We cannot delay the start of any of our shows. No holding the house up in here (there are too many shows sharing each space, and delays would mess up the schedule for everyone)
- Some of our shows/venues cannot accommodate late seating
- Atlanta traffic and parking can be a big mess, and it ain’t getting fixed before our festival
- We do not offer refunds for any reason
Our advice: familiarize yourself with the venues and plan to get there a little early. All of our venues have places nearby where you can grab a snack or a drink while you chill out before your show starts (heck – 7 Stages has a coffee shop/bar next to the lobby!)
Roll up early, call an Uber, take advantage of public transportation – do whatever you’ve gotta do to get to the festival on time. We can’t wait to see you!
Visiting the Atlanta Fringe from out of town?
Welcome! Here are a few things to know to help you enjoy your stay to the fullest:
Atlanta’s a huge city, but our festival takes place in a small part of it, so it’s easy to navigate.
Our venues are located on the East side of Atlanta in and around the neighborhoods of Little Five Points, East Atlanta Village, and Old 4th Ward.
Atlanta is hot as hell.
PLEASE don’t call it Hotlanta (we all hate that! Ugh!) But, yes, we got the nickname for a reason. You will be walking back and forth between venues in Georgia in the summer, please dress accordingly and drink lots of water.
Our venues are close to each other, but they’re not totally walkable
You will need some form of transportation, but the venues are generally quick (less than 5 minute) drives from each other. Of course, you can just camp at one venue, and some of our venues have multiple stages in them, so you can get a ton of Fringe performances in without leaving a single venue!
Atlanta traffic is no joke.
Your cousin who’s still all bent out of shape about getting stuck on 85 on the way to a Falcons game five years ago is not exaggerating: it gets wild here! It’s part of why we confine our festival to a cluster of neighborhoods very close to each other. Still, it’s always a good idea to budget extra time for transport when in the A.
Our venues are all located in neighborhoods with TONS of food and shopping options.
Have an hour to kill? Why not try Pizza Verdura, The Pub at EAV, or Tea’Z Social? (Hint: you get discounts at those places with your Festival badge.) Atlanta is a foodie town, and loves to kick back with a nice drink, and, I dunno, some handmade soap and a vintage jacket. We have it all, is what we’re saying.
Maybe look into an AirBnB?
The East Side is great for all kinds of things – Entertainment! Food! Drinks! Shopping! – but not great for big ol’ hotels with 100 rooms. You can find those further away, in different parts of town, but if you want to stay close to our venues your best bet is a vacation rental.
